بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In The Name of God, The Most Merciful, The Ever-Merciful to His believing servants.

ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ

  1. The Most Merciful.

عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ

  1. Has taught the Quran (by His Mercy).

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ

  1. He created man.

عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ

  1. He taught him eloquent speech.

ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

  1. The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each.

وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ

  1. And the herbs (or stars) and the trees both prostrate.

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

  1. And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance.

أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ

  1. That you may not transgress (due) balance.

وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

  1. And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient.

وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ

  1. And the earth He has laid put for the creatures.

فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ

  1. Therein are fruits and date-palms having sheaths (of dates).

وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ

  1. And also corn, having leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord (O jinn and men) will you both deny?

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ

  1. He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ

  1. And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ

  1. (He is) Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ

  1. He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together.

بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ

  1. Between them is a barrier (which) neither of them transgresses.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ

  1. Out of them both come out pearl and coral.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَٰمِ

  1. And to Him belong are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

  1. Everyone upon the earth will perish,

وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ

  1. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍ

  1. Whoever is within the heavens and earth begs of Him. Every He is (engaged) is some affair (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)!

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ

  1. (After leaving you to do as you wish) We will attend to you, O two classes (of Jinn and Men) (and recompense you with justice).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

يَٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَٰنٍ

  1. O company of Jinn and Mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the boundary regions of the heavens and the earth (to flee on the Day of Judgement) (or to escape death in this life), then pass (if you can)! You will never pass (them) except with authority (from God).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ

  1. There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَٱلدِّهَانِ

  1. Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

  1. Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn (because they have already been known from their faces, either white or black).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ

  1. The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

  1. This is Hell which the criminals denied.

يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍ

  1. They will go between it and the boiling hot water!

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ

  1. But for he who has feared the standing before his Lord are two gardens –

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

ذَوَاتَآ أَفْنَانٍ

  1. Having spreading branches;

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ

  1. In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ

  1. In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ

  1. Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

  1. Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), whom no man or jinn has deflowered before them.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ

  1. (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَٰنُ

  1. Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

  1. And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ

  1. Dark green (in colour).

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ

  1. In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ

  1. In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٌ

  1. Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful;

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ

  1. Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions;

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

  1. Whom no man or jinn has deflowered before them.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ

  1. Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

  1. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?

تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى ٱلْجَلَٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ

  1. Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour
